Tuna & Sweet Corn Sandwich Melts

Description

Warm and cheesy sandwich melts filled with flaked tuna and sweet corn. A comforting, savory snack or light meal ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 1 – 185g can Kendel Tuna in oil, drained
  • 1 can (1 cup) Kendel Sweet Corn, drained, rinsed
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 100g (1 cup) cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high. Toast bread for 2 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.
  2. In a bowl, combine tuna, corn, cheese, mayonnaise, and parsley. Mix well and season with black pepper and onion.
  3. Spoon the tuna mixture onto the toasted bread. Grill for 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Remove from grill and serve warm.
