Sautéed Butter Beans

Description

Creamy butter beans cooked low and slow in a buttery, seasoned blend. A simple yet rich side that adds warmth and comfort to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Kendel Butter Beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon Kendel Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 5 sprigs thyme, finely chopped
  • ½ medium sweet pepper, chopped,
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk scallion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Kendel Hot Pepper Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan heat olive oil over medium heat until hot. Add garlic, thyme, sweet pepper, scallion, onion and hot pepper sauce and sauté until vegetables are translucent.
  2. Lower flame and add butter beans, stir and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Remove from flame and serve hot with steamed Jasmine white rice.
