Sausage Alfredo

Description

Creamy Alfredo sauce coats tender pasta and slices of juicy sausage in this indulgent, comforting dish. Perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner, it’s rich, flavourful, and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Kendel Spicy Chicken Vienna Sausages, cut into circles
  • 1 pack Kendel Penne Rigate Pasta
  • 3 tablespoon Kendel Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tins Kendel Coconut Milk
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small, sweet pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon hot pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt and 1 tablespoon of Kendel olive oil. Add pasta and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the remaining Kendel olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onions, garlic, sweet peppers, and hot pepper.
  4. Sauté until vegetables are tender and onions are translucent.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Pour in Kendel coconut milk, then add the cooked.
  6. Kendel pasta and sliced Kendel sausages.
  7. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Add both cheeses to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and serve hot.
