Oven Baked Chicken Thighs

Description

Juicy, tender chicken thighs seasoned to perfection and baked until beautifully golden. A wholesome, fuss-free meal full of flavour.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken thighs, bone in, with skin
  • 1 tablespoon Kendel Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Kendel All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons chicken seasoning
  • 1 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

Kendel Fiesta Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Kendel Vinegar
  • 2 cups Kendel Ketchup
  • ¼ cup Kendel Spicy Sweet Ginger Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Kendel Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Kendel Instant Ginger Tea (unsweetened)
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with the first 9 ingredients and place in refrigerator overnight to marinate
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients to make Fiesta Sauce
  3. Preheat oven to 425⁰F. Line a large baking sheet with foil or use an oven safe casserole dish. Grease with oil, place chicken thighs skin side up.
  4. Brush a small amount of the sauce on the chicken and bake at 350 for 25 minutes
  5. Remove from oven, brush the remaining sauce over the chicken and bake at 375⁰F for 20-30 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and serve with Kendel Jasmine rice
